Mission Statement
To provide a clean, fun, family-friendly venue for the development of athletics and individuals in Central Texas.  While sports provide valuable lessons of teamwork, sportsmanship, and hard work for every child, they also give adults the opportunity to maintain an active lifestyle.

ASA is a place of solace after a long days work, a place for cheers and jeers with heart-felt emotion hanging on every game's outcome.  Kids love spending quality time with their parents and friends at Family Skate Night where they can race around the rink with smiles and laughter that will light up the room.

President - Tim Medina
Tim was formerly the bass player for the local hit band, Outlaw Circus.  The band earned a developmental deal with Columbia Records and played at Auditorium Shores, the Backroom, and numerous venues beyond Texas.  After a successful music career, Tim managed operations for Discovery Zone as the Central Texas District Manager and served on the Board for Town & Country Optimist Soccer Club.  As an Owner of SoccerZone South Austin, Tim planned out the business starting with an empty tract of land and helped turn it into a thriving Austin landmark.  He now owns and manages ASA, maintaining the highest level of energy in every task he undertakes.  Primary Responsibilities:  managing staff, marketing, operations, scheduling.

Vice President - Darren Brown
Darren is an attorney who graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.  Darren’s legal practice will continue to take a back seat to his love for sports and his entrepreunurial spirit.  Darren is a 4-year veteran of professional indoor football, most recently kicking for the Austin Turfcats of the SIFL.  He is a former NCAA All-American at Wofford College (Spartanburg, SC) and has given speeches to school-children about the necessity for hard work and perseverance.  Darren owns and manages both SoccerZone South Austin and ASA, providing a unique perpective and that allows him to think outside the box in formulating solutions to challenges that arise.  Primary responsibilities:  partnerships, bookkeeping, scheduling, website.
